FRIENDS OF BROOMHILL
A community organisation dedicated to the improvement and enrichment of Broomhill Park, Strood. Regular task days held through the year where volunteers meet and get involved in clearing and cutting back along pathways, planting new bulbs, shrubs and wildflowers.
A meetup group for Medway and Maidstone, providing local events for women to meet new friends and improve mental health. Their network of banks exist to give people access to the basics they need. Medway foodbank will provide a minimum of three days non-perishable emergency food to local people in crisis. All food given out is donated by the local community. A SUPPORT GROUPS
We are a baby loss charity providing support and counselling for bereaved parents and families as well as specialist bereavement training for midwives and health-care professionals. Our charity is funded entirely by kind donations and our fundraising activities.
Kinfest aims to alleviate the isolation felt by kinship children and their carers and ‘sharers’, by providing opportunities to share recreational time together. This is done through an annual holiday, day trips and social events, as well as an online support forum.
